Boredom led to me go surf the net on Earth.
Boredom led me to find out that the Earth rotates at 1670km/hr at the equator
Boredom led to to wonder if we jump (aka lift ourself off the grd of Earth for say mebbe a spilt second), would we still have landed on the same spot? 1670km/hr approx 464m/sec, hence if we lift ourselves off the ground for say 0.5sec, we wld have landed 232m away from wea we first jump. Does this sound logical? of cos we shdnt be jumping ard in our house but out in the wild like on a patch of grass or wat.
And tis also led me to tink that when we take an airplane, we shd be flying agst the direction of the rotation, otherwise we wld never reach our destination cos if i am not wrong there isnt any plane that can fly faster than 1670km/hr... but tis i might be wrong lah.. mebbe someone can tell me .. lol.
anyways update on Ben & Jerry's Chubby Hubby.. it is delicious, there's peanut butter in it.
